To address these challenges, CS solution developed a comprehensive solution, incorporating a custom mobile app for inspectors, a centralized admin system for managing inspections and reports, and a customer portal for clients to access their inspection reports. Requirement Analysis
As a base, requirement analysis was done by the team to understand the process of inspection and how the deficiency and other reports can be carried out for the successful inspection of the fire safety equipment.

Centralized Database
The manual system was having multiple inspection forms, fire safety equipment data and specifications which needs to be included in the cloud based system for which we have given a provision in the admin portal to enter all the data to be managed with centralized database which is linked to mobile app so the data can be utilized by the inspector for the inspection purpose.

Custom App for Inspection

Based on the requirement and process analysis, the team suggested having a custom mobile app for the inspector so that the mobile app can be installed on any smart mobile to be carried out to the site for the inspection.

A centralized admin system to manage assigned Inspections, Inspection Reports, Client Information which allows easy access, updates and retrieval of the data from the system.

In the manual process, the customer was informed for the inspection status via call or email so the inspection history was not supposed to manage at the customer side so by providing the customer portal, all inspection reports can be accessed by the customer and the actions can be carried out if the deficiency has been marked for any of the installed equipment.

The admin can export the report the inspection reports in PDF format to analyze or to store or send out of the system.

We digitized over 100 physical forms, including various types such as verification forms and inspection forms, and integrated them into a single, cohesive platform. The previous manual inspection process relied on close-ended yes-or-no questions, but we enhanced this by incorporating a visualization feature that allows fire inspectors to capture photos of the inspected objects. Additionally, we designed all the forms to require minimal user interaction, ensuring a more efficient and user-friendly experience.

We began with detailed workshops and meetings to understand the client s manual inspection process and pain points. By mapping out the workflow, we documented all requirements, ensuring alignment with the client’s goals and compliance standards.
During development and integration, we used an Agile methodology with iterative sprints for continuous progress. We utilized technologies like React Native for the mobile app, PHP-Laravel for backend development, and MySQL for the database. Automated calculations were implemented within the forms to handle complex data, and a centralized database was set up for quick access and retrieval of inspection data.
For testing and quality assurance, we conducted extensive unit tests, integration tests, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Real-time data syncing and automated calculations were tested for accuracy and reliability. Feedback from UAT was used to make final adjustments before deployment.
Post-deployment, we offered continuous technical support and established a feedback loop to gather insights for future improvements. Regular updates and new features were planned based on user feedback and evolving needs.
